How To Get To Playa Flamingo
Playa Potrero is northwest of San Jose in the Guanacaste region of Costa
Rica. Several highways wind their way there through fantastic landscapes.
Flying is the best way to get around Costa Rica. Flights are short and
inexpensive. San Jose to Liberia is a 45 minute flight. Playa Flamingo is a
40 minute drive from there. You can rent a car in Liberia (Alamo, Avis,
Budget) or catch a taxi for about $30.00 USD.
International flights are available to both San Jose and Liberia. Most major
airlines fly into San Jose. Delta, Continental and others have direct
flights into Liberia, which is only 50 minutes from Flamingo Beach.
Entry Requirements: Citizens of the USA, Canada and most European countries can visit Costa Rica for 90 days. No visa is necessary, but you must have a valid passport.
